The IOFF and your privacy

Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to oceanfilmfest.org and International Ocean Film Festival and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to International Ocean Film Festival include oceanfilmfest.org and IOFF. The IOFF website is a nonprofit site. By using the IOFF website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of your personal Information

IOFF may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

• Street address

IOFF may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your:

• Age
• Gender
• Geographic location
• Income and ethnicity (through voluntary survey only – these questions are optional)

We may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.

The IOFF encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from the IOFF so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. The IOFF is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the IOFF website.

The IOFF collects and uses your personal information to operate its website(s) and deliver the information and services you have requested.

The IOFF may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other services or events available from the IOFF and its affiliates. The IOFF may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of the festival and related services or of potential new services or events that may be offered.

The IOFF does not sell, rent or lease its mailing lists to third parties.

The IOFF may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within the IOFF, in order to determine what IOFF services and events are the most popular.
