Local solutions for plastic pollution

On Sunday, March 11, join Shark Stewards and Take Action for the Ocean for a beach clean-up and marine debris survey. We'll also team up with The Last Plastic Straw to encourage local waterfront vendors to stop using plastic straws.

Afterward we'll walk over to the festival just in time to catch the 7th Annual Student Film Competition at Cowell Theater, Fort Mason!

You'll be a part of the solution by not only picking up trash that adversely affects marine life but also helping to survey debris and marine animals in the area.

Meet at the San Francisco Maritime Heritage Area, just west of the Dolphin Club, at 530 Jefferson Street, at 8:30 am sharp, and we'll see you at the festival after that!
