It's time for the San Francisco Green Film Festival! This year we at the International Ocean Film Festival (IOFF) are thrilled to co-host two screenings at the Green Film Fest, starting with A Plastic Ocean, showing at the Roxie Theater on Friday, April 21.
A Plastic Ocean, filmed over four years and 20 locations, takes us around our beautiful Blue Planet, exploring wildlife, plastic rivers, and communities that have to live among toxic plastic pollution.
Follow filmmaker, ocean explorer, and journalist Craig Leeson around the globe and learn more about this enormous problem and how we can all be part of the solution.
Join us for a post-screening discussion with experts, including Carolynn Box, environmental programs director at 5 Gyres Institute; Sandra Curtis, director of innovative projects at Plastic Pollution Coalition; and David McGuire, founder of Shark Stewards.
